Window designed by Edward Burne Jones
Church of St. Catherine
Hoarwithy, Herefordshire
This window required a good clean and a re-lead. The glass and paint were in good order with only a couple of old breaks requiring attention. The original lead was thin, and the hand-made glass thick and heavy, a combination of which, with time as the lead corroded, lead to signs of the window beginning to collapse under it's own weight.
