Clare is pleased to undertake commissions for new windows. Always individual, her bespoke designs strive to satisfy both client and architecture.
Speciallist techniques of glass cutting, painting, acid etching, sandblasting, kiln fusing/forming and leading are used to great effect to create exciting works. Most often windows are constructed in the traditional manner of glass pieces held together by lead calme. However, technology has advanced and other glazing systems are now available, offering further scope for the architectural glass designer.
New windows can be fitted into timber frames and stone or brick reveals using the appropriate fixing methods and materials. Architectural glass also encompasses elements of interior design, such as glass screens, wall murals, tiles, doors and mirrors.
